AIS Water CEO Elena Gosse wins three international Stevie Awards for Women in Business

It has been a golden week by any standards for Brisbane’s Elena Gosse, the CEO of AIS Water, who has been named the winner of three prestigious, international Gold Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

On October 2, Elena was named the Gold winner for Woman of the Year – Manufacturing award; Gold winner for Most Innovative Company of the Year – More Than 10 Employees award and; Gold winner for Achievement in Organisation Recovery award.

“The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s premier business awards for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run,” organisers said. “It is one of the world’s most coveted awards.” This year, more than 1,500 entries were submitted from around the globe in more than 100 categories, with winners decided by 180 business professionals internationally, split into seven juries.

AIS Water designs and manufactures water disinfection technology for home and commercial swimming pools.

“I am always delighted to see the work of our company being recognised because we work extremely hard to be the best. We are dedicated to keeping pool water clean and safe, while our technology saves millions of litres of water across our planet,” Elena explained.

“To be named a Gold Winner in three categories is quite astounding. It proves that we are making a real difference in competition swimming pools, aquatic centres, resorts and hotels and people’s homes across the world.  This kind of global recognition also helps to open the doors to new markets, particularly in the U.S where we are currently focusing a lot of our energy.”

Elena was named the Gold Winner for Organization Recovery with a 35% increase in business over the last year despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her win for Woman of the Year – Manufacturing, reflects her decision to reassess operations to determine new, more efficient ways of working to meet customer demand. Elena is now working to triple AIS Water’s production.

Innovation has always been central to the ethos and work of AIS Water, so it is rewarding to see it named the Gold Stevie Award winner for the Most Innovative Company of more than 10 employees.

With a passionate conviction that all companies need to be aware of the social and environmental implications of swimming pool water wastage, independent university research demonstrates AIS Water’s technology can save up to 1.6 million litres of water in just one 50 metre swimming pool, in one year.

“Awards such as the Stevies help us to generate more awareness not only about our products, but the benefits they offer to enhance the safety, life and environment of the communities in which they operate,”  Elena said. Stevie Award winners will receive their awards at a virtual award ceremony on December 9, in place of the Las Vegas ceremony planned pre-COVID.
