AIS CEO Elena Gosse will be addressing attendees at the Liberal National Party Women’s State Conference on July 9 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Elena will join her fellow guest speakers; Catherine Smibert Toomey, Managing Director at Priceless Life Centre and Leila Abukar, campaigner against Female Genital Mutilation, at the invitation-only event.
Elena said that she was honoured to be asked to speak at such a significant event.
“As well as the policy initiatives that LNPW will be discussing on the day, this is a chance to share valuable information about key issues affecting our society such as women’s health, education and gender equality. Also to share our own stories as women.
“The powerful role that women play in society cannot be underestimated. My own journey, as a Russian immigrant to CEO of my own company is proof of that fact. I hope that my presentation inspires other women, and men to believe in themselves and to follow their own dreams.”
