LEADING Brisbane water disinfection technology manufacturer AIS Water has been recognised from more than 24,000 nominations as a Queensland State Finalist in two categories in the prestigious Telstra Best of Business Awards. AIS Water is a finalist in the Embracing Innovation and Outstanding Growth categories.
The notoriously rigorous Telstra judging process requires entrants to progress through several stages of judging including interviews and video presentations about each business’ approach to innovation, growth and leadership.
CEO of AIS Water, Elena Gosse, said every step of the Awards process offered an opportunity to revisit the strengths of her multi-award-winning company over its 28-year track record of excellence and innovation.
“We’ve won over 55 national and international awards to date but being a double finalist in the Telstra Awards is definitely a highlight as these awards are so meticulous as far as the judging process is concerned, Elena said.
“It’s been an extraordinary journey telling our story to the judging panel as it has provided me with the chance to reflect on our company’s history from the three-person operation it once was, to the 45-person international success story it is today, Elena said.
“Additionally, to be able to grow our business by over 35% over the past 18 months, despite the global pandemic, is something I am incredibly proud of.”
Elena said that another essential component of her company’s success was her staff.
“I am also incredibly proud of our AIS Water Team. Our company has a clear set of values and we all work together as a family. I hope that we can all celebrate on stage when the winners are announced in 2022.”
